These guides are written for Biology teachers and their students and provide a detailed look at one of BC’s icon species, the grizzly bear. They can be adapted and used by other teachers, youth leaders, naturalists and community educators who want to offer bear education. Through a series of activities, students follow the footsteps of grizzly bear researchers to explore taxonomy, habitat, population statistics, form and function, behavior and conservation principles.
